The Kut Different Summer Leadership Academy was created around one core belief: exposure changes trajectory.
This is not a summer camp. It is a structured youth leadership program designed to develop young men in grades 4 through 8 through discipline, exposure, accountability, and real world experiences.
From June 1 through July 24, a select group of 15 young men, who are currently not enrolled in Kut Different, will step into an eight week leadership academy built to expand their mindset, strengthen their character, and prepare them for a future they may not yet see for themselves.
Why the Kut Different Summer Leadership Academy Exists
Across the country, young men are told to succeed without being shown how.
They are told to dream big without being given proximity to professionals.
They are expected to lead without being trained in leadership.

This summer leadership program for boys focuses on building more than skill. It builds belief.
A Selection Based Leadership Academy for Young Men
The Kut Different Summer Leadership Academy is intentionally limited to 15 participants.
This leadership academy for young men is competitive and selective by design.
There is no monetary cost to families.
The investment required is effort, preparation, accountability, and commitment.

The Three Pillars of the Kut Different Summer Leadership Academy
Every component of this youth leadership program is built around three focus areas that develop the whole young man.

Participants develop communication skills, presentation ability, goal setting structure, and academic discipline.
Young men are taught how to articulate ideas, think critically, and carry themselves with confidence in professional environments.
This is hands on leadership training, not theoretical conversation.

The academy emphasizes physical activity, personal responsibility, emotional intelligence, and mindset development.

Application Process for the Kut Different Summer Leadership Academy
Because this is a selection based youth leadership program, applicants must complete several intentional steps.
Vision Board Submission
Each applicant must create a vision board that reflects:
Personal goals
Interests and passions
Who he wants to become
This reveals how a young man sees his future and whether he is willing to think intentionally about it.
Ten Verified Hours of Community Service
Applicants must complete ten verified hours of community service by April 11.
This includes a service log, supervisor verification, and written reflections.
Leadership begins with service. Commitment begins with action.
Video Submission
Applicants must submit a short video explaining:

This allows leadership to assess communication, preparation, confidence, and mindset.
In Person Interview
Selected applicants will participate in an in person interview with Kut Different leadership to evaluate character, coachability, and alignment.
Completion of the steps does not guarantee acceptance.
Selection is intentional.
