About the Program
8 WEEK
TRANSFORMATION
The Kut Different Summer Academy is a transformative 8-week program for young men in grades 4–8. Running June 1 – July 24, Monday through Thursday from 9am to 2pm, the Academy delivers education, skill-building, health & wellness, and life-expanding exposure.

The Commitment

NOT FREE
While the Summer Academy has no monetary cost, it is not simply free. Participants are expected to commit their time, effort, and dedication fully to the program.
This is an investment in your child's future and we take it seriously. We expect every participant to show up, give their best, and embrace the challenges and opportunities ahead.
Time
Monday – Thursday, 9am–2pm for 8 full weeks. Consistent attendance is non-negotiable.
Effort
Participants are expected to engage fully in every activity, workshop, and challenge.
Dedication
Complete commitment to the Academy's values, expectations, and community standards.
Space Is Extremely Limited
Only 10 spots are reserved for existing Kut Different students and 15 spots for new members and selection is competitive. Completing this form and submitting materials does not guarantee placement.
Application Requirements

The application process reflects the standards of the Academy itself. Intentional, meaningful, and worth doing right.

Vision Board

Required
Upload a digital copy or photo of your child's vision board. This should reflect their goals, passions, and aspirations. A window into who they are and who they're becoming.

Video Submission

Required
Upload a short video of your child answering two questions: Why do they want to join the Academy? What value will they bring to the program and to their fellow participants?

Community Service Hours

10 Hours Required
Upload verification of 10 hours of community service. Must include a service log, supervisor verification, and your child's personal reflections on what was learned.
The Selection Process

Once submissions are reviewed, selected participants will be invited for an in-person interview with Kut Different leadership.
