A Male Mentorship Program
Kut Different is a nonprofit organization committed to developing the next generation of leaders. Through discipline, structure, and intentional structured programs, we help young men build character, confidence, and clarity of direction. Our work connects young men to mentors, real-world exposure, and opportunities that help them discover who they are and who they can become. Our focuses are academic success, career readiness, and long-term leadership.

Kut Different doesn’t just show up; they have become an advocate for Ayden. It doesn’t matter whether it's an important school meeting, during difficulties with behavior, and of course, during the celebratory moments - I can look up and see Kut Different there to support us. For a long time, Ayden was the youngest mentees in the program. Now he is one of the older mentees and he understands that his younger brothers are now looking up to him. He takes pride in being responsible for his young brothers and setting a good example.
Now my son speaks with confidence and does not hesitate to rise to challenges set before him. He communicates his thoughts and I’ve found him to be very emotionally intelligent due to the social & emotional classes that the boys have been privileged to experience throughout their time. The mentors brought it out of him in such a positive way, I can’t thank them enough. The exposure trips are top tier. The support and love, along with tough love when needed, are unmatched.
Kut Different stripped away the noise and helped him face the version of his self that was buried under obligation, fear, and survival. Through this space, he gained language for how he was feeling, strategy for what he was building, and the courage to stop shrinking. It reminded him that being “Kut Different” isn’t just a catchy phrase, it’s a calling. A responsibility. A mandate to lead with authenticity, to build with integrity, and to walk boldly even when the path feels lonely.
