The KD x MIM Legacy Run 5K brings Ocala together around health, unity, and purpose, and every step helps build the Kut Different Community Center, a permanent home for learning, connection, and opportunity for the whole community, opening this fall.

The Legacy Run is a partnership between two Ocala organizations that show up for this community in different ways.

Kut Different is a 501(c)(3) that mentors young men in grades 4 through 8 across Marion County, pairing them with men who show up week after week. Every step of this race builds toward Kut Different Academy, a K through 8 school for young men opening Fall 2027.
The Cause.
More than a run.
Proceeds build the Kut Different Community Center, a permanent home right next door to Howard Middle School, built for all ages and all families. A place for afterschool support, classes, coaching, and connection, where the whole community can find the resources and people to move forward.
